Bijay Shahi: An Inspiration for many Nepalese Youths [A Satire]

It is the year 2102 BS/ 2045 AD. Nepal had just won its 25th world Physics plus Math Olympiad. These days, olympiad contestants from America, Europe, Australia and China, are far behind Nepal in terms of intellect.


You might ask, “Nepal was an underdeveloped country with a low literacy rate just 20 years ago. How did it get so great? “

The answer is simple: It's all thanks to the memory king of the world, Sir Bijay Shahi.


Today, Sir Bijay Shahi is the smartest person alive. He can memorize any book in a matter of a few hours and that knowledge gets stored in his brain forever.

His brain is not just like a computer, it is a supercomputer. There are no mathematical equations he can't solve. There is no physics phenomenon he doesn't know. He has stored all the academic knowledge there is to know. He is like a memory god.

Twenty years ago, it was the effort of distinguished Journalists like Vagya Neupane who brought him to the limelight and all Nepali people started realizing his mind power. Then he was interviewed by many foreigners. He showcased his skills among those interviewers and even explained to them it was his divine power. And all those foreigners believed him.

Few months after that, Guinness world record officials approached him and tested his memory. And without a doubt, he proved himself to be the smartest man alive. He broke many world records about memory and set new records. He was on a whole new level and no other person could achieve his level of power.

And unsurprisingly, NASA also got word of this genius person and immediately called him. During several experiments, NASA scientists were shocked to find that his brain worked very differently from a normal human brain and they couldn't understand how he was getting those memory powers. This time as well Sir Bijay stressed that it was his divine power.

Later, Sir Bijay worked with those NASA scientists. He was such a genius that NASA officials thought it best to let Sir Bijay lead the entire NASA. And within a year he became the NASA Administrator. During his time at NASA, he solved many unsolved mathematical and physics problems. He developed new forms of quantum mechanics and solved the "theory of everything" of physics. He envisioned a breakthrough in space travel and did far better innovation than Elon musk was Doing at that time.

He was not only good at academics. He was good at stock markets and earned trillions off of it. Despite being a Nepali living in the US, he went to Britain’s got talent and baffled the people. Then after a few years, he bought Google itself. Those days, Bijay Shahi was more popular than Einstein and Steve Jobs. And many people like me had made him their inspiration.


Despite all the accolades and money he was getting inside the USA, he never forgot his birth country Nepal. So after a few years of work at NASA, he returned back with the aim to uplift the education system of Nepal and produce more Nepalese geniuses.

Since the Nepali government supports talented personnel to undertake great projects in the country, let him open an institute to teach his vast wisdom to Nepalese youth for free.


He taught his secrets to his students and after that Nepal started producing more geniuses like Bijay Shahi. Soon Nepal was titled the "Homeland of the Intellectuals" by the world.


Within a few years, Nepalese people created breakthroughs in every field and raised the fame of Nepal to great heights. Ser Bahadur Deuba's government also invested heavily in such youths and allowed them to initiate many scientific and business projects. And just after 10 years, Nepal turned from a developing country to a developed country like the USA. Soon, Australian, Japanese and Saudi Arabian citizens were coming to Nepal for better job opportunities.

Nowadays, the politicians of Switzerland and the US promise their citizens like “If you give me a vote, I will make the USA/Switzerland like Nepal." But it's too bad for them that they don't have someone like Bijay Shahi in their land.



Due to the heavy influx of foreigners who come to study in Nepal, it had to make a strict visa and a tough entrance exam to control the number of foreign students in Nepal. That entrance exam would be taken by our Sir Bijay Shahi and only the best people who passed the exam could study under him.



USA citizens would have to give tougher exam since their SAT and GRE exam was troubling Nepalese students in the past. It was like an act of sweet revenge on the USA.

So this was the short story of how our memory king Bijay Shahi changed the face of Nepal. It was all his divine memory power that made Nepal one of the most powerful countries in the world, both economically and militarily. We feel blessed that Bijay Shahi was born in Nepal. He is our hero who single-handedly saved Nepal from drowning.

These were the reasons why I made Sir Bijay Shahi my inspiration. Although I lack heavenly power like Bijay Shahi, I aspire to be a genius like him someday.


Lastly, I want all the readers to imagine if one Bijay Shahi can make such an impact on a country, imagine what the world would be like if there were more Bijay Shahi like people.
